City Postman Wins 2nd Place in City University Examination

Announcement of university exam results on March 17 brought much joy to Sanjay KP, a postman from Bangalore, as he obtained second rank (BA) at Bangalore City University.

The 25-year-old, who works at Sunkadakatte Post Office, studied at VV Puram Evening College of Arts and Commerce. Postman from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., he attended classes from 5:30 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.

The Kukarahalli native, after completing his PU in 2018, pursued a BA in Economics, History and Political Science and graduated with 91.7%.

“I pursued a bachelor’s degree because I wanted to understand subjects such as political science, especially the Constitution that governs us,” he said. YOU.

Sanjay expressed his gratitude to senior colleagues at Sunkadakatte Post Office for encouraging him to continue his studies and also giving him time off during exams. Sanjay plans to take not only departmental exams but also competitions like KPSC.
