Examinations for undergraduate courses will start from April 15


Mumbai University students were eagerly waiting to receive an update on the Mumbai University exam schedule and dates. The university has finally released the schedule of upcoming exams for undergraduate courses in Arts, Commerce and Science. The timetable for the final exams will also be published soon by the university. This news is a sigh of relief for all students taking exams for undergraduate courses. Here is an overview of the University of Mumbai 2021 Examination Date Update by the University.

Mumbai University Exam Schedule

Final semester exams for final year students in the three undergraduate programs in Arts, Commerce and Science will be held from May 6 to 21, 2021 this year. The exams will be conducted in online mode. According to the schedule, the theoretical and practical exams of the last year of the last semester will be carried out in online mode by the colleges. This decision is made due to the current COVID-19 situations in the state. The regular and backlog theory exams for semester 6 will take place from May 6 to May 21, 2021, in online mode.

For Semester 1-4 exams of undergraduate courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce, regular and late exams will run from April 15 to May 5, 2021. Semester 5 late exams will run from May 24 to May 2, 2021. Jun 2021 Mumbai University Examination Schedule for Final Year Examinations of Postgraduate and Management Courses is also expected to be released soon. The University Colleges of Mumbai have been instructed to carry out their entire project, hands-on and viva-voce through the video call apps or phone calls if required.

Here is an overview of the University of Mumbai Exam Date 2021

  • Theoretical exams semester 6: from May 6 to 21
  • Theoretical exams for semesters 1 to 4: from April 15 to May 5
  • Semester 5 Backlog Exams: May 24 to June 2

The theory exams for the final semester in science, arts and commerce will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions lasting one hour. For other courses like Engineering, Pharmacy, and MCA courses, two-hour theory exams will be taken for 80 points. 40 points will be for the objective questions and 40 for the descriptive ones.
