“Starting in the 2021-2022 academic year, admissions to the Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics, and Masters of Physiotherapy will be through the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET). “This is an effort in line with the national education policy motive for a university to review,” said Rajiv Gupta, president of Admissions.

Mr Gupta said that DUET-2021 for all PG programs, some undergraduate programs, and masters and doctoral programs will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the dates of which will be announced shortly. He said that for admissions this year, the number of testing centers will also be increased.

“This year, the University of Delhi plans to increase the number of testing centers for DUET. This was one of the main demands of the applicants,” he said. An academic statement released later today also said: “Non-NET applicants who wish to be admitted to doctoral and master’s degree programs will need to apply for DUET-2021.” All entry tests will be carried out via the computer mode of the NTA, the statement added.
